Streetsville Arts Fest (May 22 - May 31, 2009)
Opening Reception at Masonic Lodge Hall,
11 Thomas St. on Friday May 22nd at 7:30 - 10pm
Come enjoy the Streetsville Arts Fest!
The Streetsville Arts Fest (SAF) is a community event that was very good in its first year. We want to make it even better this year by including more music, some dance and some films.
Many exciting art related activities for adults and children will be offered over a ten day period.
Visual Art: This year we have 32 visual artists in 13 locations in a more compact area of Streetsville. It's Cuchulainn's to the north and Co-operator's Insurance agency at the south end. Large numbers of artists will have their work on exhibit at 20 Thomas Street - until recently the home of Gallery Streetsville. Poetry readings and music will also be held there.
The second busiest spot will be at the Robinson Bray House at 223 Queen St. south. The work of seven artists and art demonstration workshops as well as music for both kids and adults will happen here.
